Spruce Up the 'Berg Grants

The Foundation's newest grants program, the Spruce Up the 'Berg community-wide beautification program, was designed to encourage Muhlenberg Countians to make a difference in their own neighborhoods and downtowns by reimagining and breathing new life into public spaces. The Foundation has allotted $100,000 in funding for projects in its 2024-2025 program year, with the application available for download here. Applications are due January 8, 2025, and will be reviewed by a local peer-review committee with decisions to be announced in late-February 2025.

Projects can be proposed and led by individuals or groups in Muhlenberg County, however they must partner with an organization who can receive the grant such as a 501(c)3 nonprofit, city, fiscal court, school, or church.
