Spruce Up the 'Berg Grants
With much success in its inaugural year, the Foundation is thrilled to announce that $100,000 has been allocated for Spruce Up the ‘Berg projects in 2024. The program is designed to encourage Muhlenberg County residents to make a difference in their own neighborhoods and downtowns by beautifying or reimagining public spaces. A listing of last year’s projects can be found here. The Foundation welcomes applications from individuals and organizations including local governments, faith-based organizations, 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, as well as informal resident-led individuals or groups that will partner with the groups above as fiscally sponsored projects.
