Greater Muhlenberg Parks and Recreation System Launched; Board Appointed; Executive Director Hired

Greenville, KY (April 2, 2012) – In the past two years, a very hard-working Steering Committee has completed a plan for a county-wide Parks and Recreation System that will provide recreational programming and park facilities for all the residence of Muhlenberg County. All the incorporated cities in the County, as well as the School System and County government, have signed an Interlocal agreement to create the Greater Muhlenberg Parks and Recreation System. This joint System will be a governmental entity but will not be under the direct control of any one entity.
