Dean Rowe is the Market President of Farmers Bank & Trust in Muhlenberg County. He joined the staff of Farmers Bank in 2021 as a Business Development Officer after 19 years at First Kentucky Bank where he was Market Executive of the Pennyrile Region. Dean started his banking career in 1992 at Old National Bank as Marketing Director in Greenville. Prior to his banking career, he spent three years with the Leader-News in Central City.
Dean is a 1984 graduate of Muhlenberg Central High School and earned the Bachelor of Science degree in English & Broadcast Journalism from Murray State University in 1989. He is a 1995 graduate of the Kentucky School of Banking and a 2015 alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University.
Dean has also been committed to community service throughout his professional life. He is a 30-year member and former President of the Central City Lions Club and serves as the club’s Vision Care Assistance Chair. Dean was the inaugural President of the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce when it was formed in 2006. Currently, he serves as treasurer for the Muhlenberg Alliance for Progress (MAP) and on the Owensboro Health Foundation Board of Directors. He is also a founding board member of the Muhlenberg County Athletic Hall of Fame and has served as the public address announcer of Muhlenberg County High School basketball since 1990.
Dean and his wife, Tina, reside in Central City with their two children, Ethan and Jasmine.
